This report is false. Elon never said he was laying off 10% of his work force. He said he was reducing his SALARIED staff by 10%. The reason was he believed the staff to be too top heavy. Too many people sitting around in offices. He said he wants MORE employees that are actually building the cars, so they can increase output.
It’s unbelievable to me that these so-called professionals in the media didn’t even bother to check the story before reporting it. Totally ridiculous!
The stock value doesn't matter as no need to raise money and Elon has no need to raise more money.
