Lady actually has a point. If the police can't protect, government is powerless to enforce, you have every right to protect yourself. If criminals have machine guns, so should you. However, making it harder for crazy evil person from getting guns, I am all for.

Lucretia Hughes is my new hero! The host is disgusting! She doesn't understand. The host talked able legal guns being used in Uvalde. It was not legal for the killer to have a gun on the school campus. It was not legal for the killer to shoot anyone. The laws dont stop criminals. The only legal gun belonged to an honest citzen, a barber, who loaned it to another honest citizen who ultimately stopped the shooter. The host should do her homework and use some common sense… just disgusting.

A government that will not secure its borders is not serious about the security of the individuals in that country. Further restricting law abiding citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights does not increase security. When I was a kid going to high school you could go duck hunting in the morning and have your shotgun in the truck while you went to classes. The progressives have succeeded in transforming our society into a dangerous place… and now that they have made it so dangerous, they want to take away our guns. They get more power, we get less freedom. It's a zero sum game. Don't lose the game on purpose. Friends from other countries that have given up their guns tell me, "Don't let them take away your guns!"
Common sense equip every politician and staff with guns to deter and defend the Capital from bad guys. Leaders should lead by example. Simple!

The 18 year old wouldn’t have shot up uvalde if he couldn’t buy the AR 15s on his 18th birthday period. In Texas there was no laws that were not followed. These people can say until their faces turn blue that illegal immigrants are really the problem or prisoners that were released are really the problem but guess what? The uvalde shooter was none of those things so your argument doesn’t apply to this most recent school shooting. She’s essentially saying my constitutional rights are more important than your dead kids
