this was a SCHOOL COP not a Statie or even local police. the shooter had an AK machine gun. not sure the school cop did. so he should take an automatic weapon out with a small hand gun? he followed protocol since he also has a family. you need a SWAT team not the security guard. that's exactly what happened.
Listen to the part about the officer contending with so many keys, trying to figure out which was the one he needed. Later, we'll hopefully hear from the school principal, or even the school maintenance crew. These are the ones who usually go about with a single master key that opens all the school doors.
