CDC MMWR Vol. 71 from January 28th, 2022 clearly shows that prior infection without vaccination during Delta was superior to vaccination alone.
You really can't change your baseline risk of severe negative outcome from SARS-CoV-2. Age and the overwhelming majority of comorbidities are pretty much constant (within the time frame of months to a year or two). So, for those folks that do not have significant health concerns and are not elderly why take a product that may increase your risk?
For something to be safe it must be free of known risks – The medical products do not fall into this fair and concise definition.

I got 4 full shots of Moderna. My last shot was back in march. I went on the carnival freedom the ship that caught fire in grand Turk. We came back Monday Memorial Day on the conquest. When we got home (we live 1 hour from cap canaveral) and I started to feel off. By wendsday June 1st I felt terrible. Started to have low grade fevers my chest was super congested, my ears and head were killing me. My body was run down and aching. So I took a binax now antigen test. And it’s immediately came back positive! I couldn’t believe it because I have been taking precautions for the last 2 1/2 years. So my husband suggested I take the second one and same thing! Not even a second of the fluid going up the strip it produced a large thick purple line. Both tests positive. I called our local Cleveland clinic here in Vero beach fl and they suggested I come in. When I got there I felt worse. My oxygen was at 93. If it was below 89 then I would have been put on oxygen. The ER doctor who also worked in the Covid ward said I am luckily I got the booster from Moderna when I did in march of this year. If not it would have been worse! Turns out I was infected with the new BA2 varriant of omicron. What’s happening is the current vaccines from Moderna right now are only 90% affective against this new varriant of omicron. It’s evading our immune defenses and that’s why a person like me who falls in the immunal lol compromised group who had his 4th full dose in march got it. He said if I did not get it though I probably would have been admitted to the hospital. They tested me with a rapid test and a PCR and both came back positive. I spent 10 agonizing days at home isolated in my room coughing, wheezing, sore throat, headaches pounding head aches, body aches, night sweats, I developed Covid tongue, lost my sense of smell, still had a semi amount of taste. And now day 13 still dealing with extreme dizziness. My primary doctor said I could have permanent virtigo because the virus might have damaged the vestibular nerve in my ear, so I’ll be seeing him this week for that. Still dealing with fatigue. And I just turned 30 on may 27th. I am preaching to everyone please get your booster if you are due. Get vaccinated! I’d rather be vaccinated all over again then deal with this. This is a extremely bad virus that has no true medication yet for it. Monoclonal if you are lucky and approved for, or the viral pill if it’s available in your state. But that’s it. You have to be approved for those. Since I got my booster when I did I wasn’t qualified and had to stick it out. They gave me albuderal, and a nausea meds to help me keep food down, and also a steroid to help with the extreme body aches. But still suffering with dizziness that could be permant for the rest of my life because of a virus. I got lazy and stopped taking my vitamins. Stopped wearing a mask. We’ll I’m telling you now I learned so I am taking all my vitamins now. Vitamins C; zinc; D3; magnesium, and omega 3! And I bought n95 surgical masks made in Texas and kn95 masks made in jersey. I’m double masking when I’m at work or at the store. Or in a severly crowded space. Because I don’t want to get this again! Please take warning. The virus is still real, we are still in a pandemic, it’s not anywhere near over. Do what you have to do to keep yourself healthy! You don’t want this virus!
