I am all for Ukraine, but these guys knew the risk of being mercenaries. They knew the US would not negotiate their release.
American soldiers, some 507 that Russia posted as of today, dead? Not to mention those caught and those that ran off! And even if America's Leadership Deny's this or calls those "Ex-soldiers" mercenaries or that they "shouldn't go to join Zelinsky's Ukrainian mercenary guard," is all baloney. They were promised payment for their services from American businessmen, etc. When I was trained in military, we were informed that all mercenaries were classified as murders.
