If FED WAS INDEPENDENT and COMPETENT they would have hiked the RATE 18 months ago and controlled INFLATION. IF FED was INDEPENDENT but INCOMPETENT they would have hiked interest NOW 100 basis point every month till MARKET is CRASHED CAUSING one two or more RECESSION back to back like COMPETENT and confident PAUL VOLCKER did in 1980s. Investing in "Make Believe Money" is a mistake.
If Trump had acted more presidential when he was President, Joe Biden would not be President, Congress would not be majority left, Putin would not have invaded Ukraine, inflation would not be high, stock investments & retirement plans would not have crashed, there would be less free flow of street drugs at the border, etc. I blame Trump on our conditions more than Joe Biden because of this. Trump was unnecessarily too polarizing. Trump could have had the best legacy of any president, ever, but, he blew it. He also blew it for his kid's future with the name, Trump. Trump could have been great. The biggest enemy against Trump was Trump.
