Let's review. The airlines laid off thousands of pilots, flight attendants, support staff, etc… when they pandemic hit. What were people doing during lockdown? They were planning their vacations they would take once the pandemic was over. Now, you're seeing that pent up travel demand from the last two years of lockdowns. This is poor planning, period.
they didn't mention that some people quit over the vaccinations.

They shouldn't be paying, it's the company should be paving the way for those who wants to be pilots
If you guys really wanna do something about your shortages of staff " START PAVING THE WAY"
I mean clearly you guys can see what's happening around the world, things are getting harder and harder, how exactly person's who wants to be pilots supposed to get money to pay for their training and fuel prices are up cost of living is up
So as I said once more PAVE THE WAY only so shortages will decline
Of course I myself wanna be a PILOT but I don't magically have the money for it
Stay home. Simple. No need to fly at ALL. Let the aviation industry focus on delivering needed supplies. They need a reset anyway. Higher prices, TERRIBLE service and now they can’t even guarantee you’ll get what you paid for? Stay home.
Why they just don't get military pilots to fly the needed planes
PAY AIRLINE EMPLOYEES MORE THEN THE LABOR SHORTAGE WILL STOP – why is it so difficult to understand?
They have to take care of the health of the pilots first. Imagine if the pilot sleep and airplane crash…. that happened before so with this going on a crash like that can happen again.
They should raise the price, and manage what they are capable of doing. Selling something that you can’t offer isn’t very considerate.
Sitting in an airport is a superspreader event. Covid is still an issue. No amount of self delusion can change what is.
