Why should we believe this will 'trickle down' to the rest of us?
Do you all remember when oil fell to negative dollars per barrel and nothing changed at the pump?
Mark my words, the Logistic and Transportation Industries will pocket the majority of this tax-break while the rest of us gets a pittance back. These industries will do nothing to change the price of shipping products for the duration of this tax break, they have no real incentive to pass that saving on to you when they hold monopolies anyway. Soon as the tax break is over, said shipping firms will use that as just another excuse to raise prices. Just imagine what inflation will look like then, when another dollar per mile is added to your bill just to get your product to the stores…!
If the government wants to help the average Citizen, they have to treat those citizens like shareholders in a company.
Perhaps it is about time Americans start getting a return on all of this investment?
The $1400 stimulus checks are costing us all at least $5000. How much will this gimmick cost? I'm guessing it won't be cheap. The Biden administration is inept.

I dont understand what are they waiting on implementing nationwide tax holidays on everything that requires day-to-day supply of gasoline, food, utility, and all in between – do they understand that the federal tax, state tax, county tax, city tax that combined have added up at least 40-50% on top of prices that are inflated to some sick levels of insomnia? you cant fall a sleep without thinking of what's going to happen to gas and food prices tomorrow!!!
New York suspended their tax and guess what happened? Not much the gas stations raised the price the made up the difference with their profit.
First of all why is he fighting the FED with the stimulus if that's what got us here in the first place? Second of all it's not much of a stimulus it's $4 a week for someone who burns 24 gallons of gas. Please no more free stuff I can't afford it.

Gas tax ain't much and hasn't changed for over a decade since Bush by 8 cents.

What is going to be the consequence? ask yourselves this please. Look at what happened in MD when they did the tax on gas. Is this going to make something else go way up and keep it up high? For everything they do there is going to be a consequence. Seems our be-loved-president is going to bankrupt America.
How about a budget freeze? Even better, a 1% budget cut across the board. I know the Democrats would prefer to keep spending our way out of debt and inflation against all reason, but this might help them understand what we are all dealing with. Who am I kidding? They understand. They just don't care.

Why do we subsidize big oil ( 1.2 billion in 2020) if they continue to make trillions off the citizens. A bit lopsided, but I guess having politicians and the government in your pocket definitely enable it. I don't know why this question isn't being asked. How about big oil reducing their margins to, I don't know, payback some of the subsidies they get that citizens pay for.

As a Registered Republican Voter never again speak to me about Republican Values, Family, Law or Parenting as well as supporting any Republican Candidate again as they only care about themselves and their own political views, opinions and careers and anyone to whom they can sell their loyalty to to protect themselves.
