Sad part is when you or your kids go to the store to get some bread or go to a movie and get hit by a stray bullet do to an altercation. NY is not as calm or as open as Nebraska, Alabama etc. Especially with all this political hatred crap and diversity. This will affect thousands of innocent lives because even law abiding citizens make dumb decisions or miss their target. Im a responsible gun owner but think of the poor cops that will also be affected. This is nuts.

Criminals do not follow laws. Restrictive gun laws mostly effect law abiding citizens right to protect themselves outside their homes. I'm ok with a law saying no guns in any place that serves alcohol. But in most cases people should be able to protect themselves. If criminals know at any given point a person might have a gun for protection that in theory should lower gun violence crimes.

Remember when the wild west was full of everybody carrying a gun around because it was so sparse there was no law enforcement and there was literally maybe one officer in an entire county maybe who knows but i e it was the wild West. And those in New York City were considered the tenderfoots because they ran around in fancy clothes and everything else and they didn't need to carry a gun on them because they were a well populated area and now it seems like it's completely reversed. That apparently they think that the only way to stay safe in the tenderfoot region is to carry a gun like those that were out in the wild west with no regulation.
Thomas made it clear that the NYS law violated the 14th amendment. Out-of a population of 28 million 1% have a concealed carry permit. In the city less than .5%. Who is that small minority? The Rich, celebrities, leo, politicans and judges……clearly the minority mother who lives in a crime area does not qualify.
SCOTUS's corruption ensures there are NO safe places in America which encourages everyone to arm themselves and we settle arguments before we had police and courts.
The law was unconstitutional. Victory for our right to defend ourselves.
