My concern is that the expected 2022 “Red Wave” is not going to happen. Moderate democrats, Independents, and Libertarians who had planned to vote Republican may now vote Democrats to insure their state doesn’t outlaw abortion.
Dems are trying to push the SC decision to rally the libs, but the reality is that the number of abortions in the USA has been declining over the past 50 years. It may just be that America has been moving in this direction for years. I don't think abortions are anywhere near where the economy and crime are in the minds of Americans.

I remember South of me in Colorado the voters, voted in sensible restrictions on abortion only to have out-of-state groups file a suit with a pet federal judge who declared what the people of Colorado voted for unconstitutional. Now Colorado is one of the states that allows for abortion almost to the day of birth.
