Pyro had nothing to do with it. If one of those engines flamed out causing an asymetrical thrust situation OR if there was a drag chute failure OR any tire or suspension failure, that would flop that rig in a heart beat and at that speed, no recovery possible. Whatever happened to that truck, it happened BEFORE it reached the pyro. I've seen this guy perform a few times and it's a great show but man, this sucks. RIP.

I'm a jet truck expert and I noticed just before the pyrotechnic went off that his rear kaneuter valve seemed to malfunction and cause an explosion. Not the first time I've seen it happen.
