A grand jury in Georgia has issued subpoenas for some of former President Trump’s allies including Rudy Giuliani, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and John Eastman for their investigation into political interference in the 2020 election. NBC’s Ali Vitali reports from Capitol Hill.

I'm a law abiding citizen (mostly, I do go over the speed limit) so I'm not familiar with subpoenas. Somebody help me out. If a regular citizen gets a subpoena they can just disregard it and not comply?

I don't see how any of those subpoenaed will testify. They don't live in Georgia, so the state cannot send it's officers to arrest them. If they refuse to testify, they will be charged with contempt of court, and what…get fined? They refuse to pay the fine.
