I some how missed this story in 2018.
I bet he wanted to die as a pilot. Only in America
Release all of his communications so there's a better understanding of his intentions and why was able to take off,fly, but then landed as he did. If anyone has details on this story please link where to find it. Very interesting story

Looks like he lived his life, and left it the way he wanted to.
Poor guy, life hit him hard and he wanted to fly a plane before clocking out and doing so in a remote island so no one else would get hurt.
