This recession we're in, is all Joe Bidens fault. Everything he's done has put us in this situation. Kamala Harris was supposed to take care of the vile situation at our borders and she just laughs in our faces and does nothing! Our government seems to be America's first and foremost ENEMY. When President Trump was in office we didn't have these problems and America was growing stronger. Foolish to think that the goal is "inflation goes away". This guest is not living at the level of most of us. The inflation that ALREADY HAPPENED has to go away!
We need a policy of managed deflation, a policy that focuses on keeping both prices and wages in synch so there is no loss of purchasing power. But ABSOLUTE dollars in prices and wages – and especially real estate – need to fall, far enough to erase the doubling/tripling of prices since just 2008. Fixed income people have lost too much purchasing power over this time frame, and prices must come back down about 50% fairly quickly, to restore some balance to that segment. Zero percent inflation will not solve this imbalance, laissez-faire is foolish, Fox.
Look….it's to late to say "a recession doesn't have to happen". We are already in a recession, GDP continues to decrease. Has this guy even seen some of the policy's coming out of the Biden admin in regards to energy? There are other factors but these policies will devastate our economy. I'm not here to be Mr gloom but this dude isn't factoring in many many thing such as interest rate hikes that WILL occur and more wreckless spending. Nice to hear he is positive about things but it's just not reality. We haven't even seen the effects of some of the spending and other things taking place, a deflationary scenario is possible but I can't see the fed allowing that happen I think more QE is on the horizon.
