Regarding the biometric "smart gun", this still sounds to me like a solution looking for a problem. I recall the anemic .22LR that was initially brought to market with a watch that needed to be worn in very close proximity to the firearm with a cost of around $2200. The pistol failed if another person needed to fire the weapon, failed when having to shoot "weak hand" and also failed if the person was involved in a tussle and had their firearm taken from them. I am not saying this one has the same issue, but unless you can guarantee 100% success rate, I will stick with my standard 9mm pistol, thank you. You are applying an electronic "solution" to a mechanical device, failure is pretty much guaranteed, and it will follow Murphy's Law and fail at the worst possible time.

the angstadt mdp-9 is not a machine gun or sub machine gun. because it's not full-auto. it's semi-auto like a 1911, it's just s pistol using a cut down rifle platform.
semex arcus arrowstar, not a real gun, it uses co2, only firearms use gunpowder, blackpowder is not the same as smokeless powder used inb modern arms

Smart guns are a bad idea. Even if the technology is 100% reliable and never has any false negatives or false positives (which is impossible), the fact that you have to use an app with it means that you are giving your data to the company, and the government could easily get the data from the company and disable your gun remotely. Also, if you get incapacitated in an attack and a stranger needs to borrow your gun to fight someone off, you're hosed
