Just like the telephone game, that sergeant who told Arredondo they had the shooter engaged in the wrong bldg. or at least not in those classrooms, got Arredondo to believe faulty intel that he did not confirm, so all his decisions were based on being told incorrect circumstances. However, 911 was clear there were 8-9 survivors at 12:16 pm. Had they gone in at 12:16 pm, one or more lives might have been saved.
So basically he sacrificed rooms 111 and 112 so the other children could get out. That is not what you're supposed to do! You go in and neutralize the threat and try to save everyone!
Just another example exactly why why law abiding Americans like teachers should be armed not to pursue but to be able to protect their own lives and other people's children instead of waiting for other law-abiding people to come and try to save them, usually it'll be far too late tho!

I understand and support our 2nd amendment and the right to protect yourself and your property but what I don’t understand is why anyone outside of the police and military would need an ASSAULT RIFLE! ?????? I mean come on!!!! A hand gun okay but an assault rifle????? To me just the fact that someone chooses to buy an assault weapon is a GIANT RED FLAG. This suspect at Uvalde was worshiped by police and bowed down to as he slaughtered countless children and some adults. Yea.
