As a brutal heat wave continues to bake much of the country, 98 million Americans are under heat alerts. Cattle ranchers are doing what they can to protect their livestock. Cows are especially at high risk in extreme weather. The heat can also cause problems for crops such as drought, causing farm production to decrease.
