Before executinjg a probe if the Repubs win back Congress, I would expect that they would pass a bill that bans Congress Reps and their spouse from trading individual stocks or require that all stocks and investments be placed in a blind trust. They will not pass the bill because some of them also do it and they can get more poltical capital out of probes and the probes keeps them from doing their job on other issues.
