Heat Wave In The Pacific Northwest Brings Record Temperatures

Some major cities in the Pacific Northwest have broken heat records with triple digit temperatures, triggering concern in areas where air conditioning is hard to come by. Portland hit a record 102 degrees yesterday and Seattle also hit a record 94 degrees. By the end of the week, some parts of Washington and Oregon could reach upwards of 110 degrees.

  1. The excessive heat we are experiencing worldwide is just the onset of problems to come for life on Earth. It seems humanities incessant desire for 'new and better stuff' which has caused untold hazardous emissions and ever-increasing mining and production across the globe, are finally catching up with us. The Earth will go on without us and, unfortunately, we will take most of the land and sea creatures with us as our planet adjusts itself to the damage and pollution we created.

  2. A glimpse of things to come. I think we already passed the point of no return. Mad Max, here we come! It was fun while it lasted.

  3. Geographically speaking half of the country is going to be unlivable and inhabitable in just a few years, people are going to start killing each other, walking dead baby, it’s coming…

  4. This is nothing compared to last year when it was 108F in Seattle.

  5. triple digits? not since Tucson in 85'? LAST TIME I was stuck in that kind of over.

  6. When the ever green state dries up and turns brown, you know you messed up.

  7. It's not too hard to buy the concept of climate change when the generations before you didn't need air conditioning.
And now if you don't have it, your life is threatened.

  8. Is summer right.wait for the el niño

  9. Get ready for the climate refugees who will largely also be climate-change deniers…or will have been for a long time…

  10. These news outlets have nothing else to report? Every year there's record temperatures either too cold or too hot. Like gtfoh. Ugh do not recommend this channel

  11. The roof the roof the roof is on fire

  12. "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17

"But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." Matthew 5:39○

  13. People are very resistant to believing their world is about to dramatically change. They're even more resistant that they could change their behaviors to make it possible for their grandchildren to have a future. Let someone else change not me is Humanities model of Extinction. Myself I care about the future generations of my family but I don't care to take someone else's life to do it. My household is taking responsibility.

  14. I blame religion for climate change.
Alas, there is no one coming to save us from ourselves.

  15. Churches should be allowed Tax Exemptions based on the charitable work they do as it was meant to be.
NOT the blanket cash cow it’s become for so many – would Christ live in huge private mansions, or cloth in sackcloth to minister to the poorest among us.
Would Christ fly in private jets to “avoid demons” or would he walk among the people to cast the demons out.

Tax those who have amassed fortunes from Tax Exemptions meant for charitable works, and those who are using the Taxpayers’ money, to subvert the Will of the People and collapse our Institutions, Government and way of American life.

    Unacceptable.

  16. Oh shoot I live West Washington

  17. And how far back do people track temperature? 150 years??

This is called "the weather." It changes. Deal with it.

  18. More good news from the media
