"Senator Toomey is asking for a fix to prevent the PACT Act from being used to increase spending completely unrelated to veterans," a spokeswoman for the senator said in a statement. "As currently written, the PACT Act includes a budget gimmick that will allow Democrats to increase spending totally unrelated to veterans by $400 billion over the next 10 years. Sen. Toomey’s technical fix would prevent this unrelated spending without changing any of the underlying policy in the bill."
And of course, that's why dems designed the bill that way. They changed it. It had support beforehand. The more you know huh?

Who here has read the actual bill? What other pet project/lobbyist spending are attached to it? If these senators are so caring and earnest about providing help for veterans, then why don't the just propose a bill with funding for ONLY toxic burn pits related disorders? Nothing else. This is how they divide us. They have structured the legislative process to benefit them, not us. Learn something about how all bills include many others.
Republicans will GLADLY shell out $800 BILLION a year for you to GO TO WAR, but REFUSE to give you even HALF that, once you return back home!
