Now there’s a Trumpy dilemma. He thinks if he announces his run for the 2024 presidential election any investigation into his corruption and criminal conduct with stop immediately. But if he does he might have to dip into some of the millions he’s grifted under false pretences. He’s going to have to decide – which is more important to him – the cash or his sorry ass. That would be enough to have that yellow thing on his head spinning into orbit.
Of course some of those donating to the RNC might start to query why their money is going to pay the legal fees of a self proclaimed “I’m very rich” billionaire- even when the legal problems are nothing to do with Republican politics.
I suppose Trump doesn’t really care who he sponges off – if the RNC stops paying he’ll just expect his MAGA hats to dig a bit deeper to pay for the many lawyers he needs to fight on many different legal fronts. And he’ll be safe in the knowledge that none of them would be smart enough to query why his corruption and his crimes are costing them so much.
