This was the best era of the USA – post war mid 50s to early 60s before sh&& got crazy. 1 income got you through life well. Before Reagan tax cuts and Super PACs put all the power in a few elites pockets. Those were the days the American dream existed. Now it's all about the influencers and the top 2% owning our politicians. Everyone else means nothing.

Is it just me or despite all the supposed treatments that scientists/doctos have come up with to battle cancer (chemo, radiation, new drugs), more people seem to be dying from cancer then ever before? I could be wrong, but it just seems like more people are dying from cancer. RIP Tony, may GOD be with your family at this time
I was the big brother like Wally so I identified with Tony's character a lot . I had two younger brothers so I had two beavers to deal with . Me and my brothers watched the show in re runs and I still see it on tv today . Tony Dow was an American Icon .God bless and rest Tony Dow

Just started happening 2 years ago.
My, but how programming has changed, but not for the better! The days of Leave it to Beaver and the Andy Griffith Show managed to give a moral lesson along with the entertainment. No cheating, lying or low-life living. Only honorable, good behavior with the attendant rewards of right living. Sometimes I go to sleep watching "Leave it to Beaver" on ROKU. It relaxes the mind.
R.I.P. Tony. You are gone but will never be forgotten. We grew up together in another era that seems like a million miles away now. Your personality helped bring a generation to be a better respected and wholesomeness to America. God Bless you!
