Severe thunderstorms moved through Las Vegas causing major flooding in several areas. The Caesars Palace Casino also experienced some flooding as water seeped through the ceiling.

The city isn't prepared for downpours. I'm reading the statistics, and rainfall was between 0.75 and 1.38 inches. That's an average storm in most areas, but the hard ground in Las Vegas says otherwise. As for hotels flooding, I blame that on poor construction. If the roof in your house can't take that much rain, sue the builder.

Funny how everyone swears this is normal, but I was just in vegas 2 weeks ago and a guy laughed at me lookin at ponchos saying they ain't had rain in almost 300 days. This is not normal.
