If he did that for no reason, shame. If he had a reason, also shame, unless the reason was that he was attacked first.
In either case, if any of the alleged victim's families owned a gun by a trained responsible adult, the 17 year old would have still been alive.
We need more guns in the hands of responsible people to protect those that can not do it themselves.

He did about everything wrong you could do in a self defense situation. He never tried to back off, he attacked people standing next to him cuz he thought he would be attacked, after he stabbed people he took off Andrew came back in different clothes. I know I sound like a Monday morning qb but it sounds like the guy panicked over what could happen so he overreacted. Walking away is difficult but the best option.

It’s hard for me to believe that a 52 year old engineer would ”for no reason” attack a group of totally innocent teenagers. It’s more likely the teenagers went after the 52 year old and he defended himself. Why would he ruin his life like that? Never been in trouble before to suddenly do something like that? He should say nothing and get a good lawyer, get me for a jury member. Our family was in this area in 2019. On holiday, we drove over from Minneapolis. We saw groups of teenagers creating problems with families who had small children. The police finally got involved. They’ve got the fox guarding the hen house over there.
