But he doesn't have to pay that much because there is a cap on the punitive damages . In Texas the punitive damages may not exceed the greater of: $200,000, or twice the amount of economic damages, which means they can only get $8.2 mil. in punitive and not $45 mil.. I think the juries should know something like that going into deliberations. Hopefully, the juries in the next two Sandy Hook cases against this cazzo will check their state's statutes.
Well he may not need to pay this staggering sum, because his lawyers made a fundamental mistake, that they may have to pay him restitution for.
