  1. I hope Dan Schneider finally gets exposed by everyone else too

  2. A war must be waged on parents. They will defend the narcissists, call it normal. Say it's just to make sure you do well in life. They can burn in the same pit.

  3. I'm not trying to rude but does Jennette look skinner to anyone?

  4. Aunque tal vez algo malo le pase.todos ya sabemos la verdad y ella es muy valiente por esto.

  5. It is extremely sad when people fail to recognize they need help or sth is wrong and try to ice cake it . Lost my teen cousin for nothing because she was just afraid of seeking help 😔 and made it like there is nothing wrong

  6. So we'll spoken she is amazing

  7. Wow wow wow You can tell that this woman has been thru so much therapy and has come out so clear on the other side. Don't know her tv shows or anything but I'm happy for her.

  8. As a mental health clinician myself, I have to give this woman so much credit for being so brave while enduring all of this toxicity (from both her mother and fame/Hollywood) and coming out stronger on the other end. Opening up about things like this is challenging for most people, so I’m hoping this inspires others to pull that curtain back and share their experiences. I was a huge fan of iCarly, but knowing all this was going on behind the scenes saddens me.

  9. Mom must have been very very sick

  10. She is incredibly intelligent

  11. Poor baby 🤍🤍🤍 I feel her pain

  12. Giving children food, clothes, and a roof over the head is a bare minimum for a parent. Not treating your child with respect, warmth and understanding may cause serious mental trouble. The invasive manipulation from the mother in this case is repulsive. I'm glad the self destruction didn't quench her spirit completely, and wish her all the best the rest of her life. She survived.

  13. Wasn't it proven most of Dan Schneider's directions to the actresses and actors in the shows known to be very weird?

  14. Most of us grow up with unhealthy parents and I'll bet her mother grew up with some unhealthy parents. Jeanette has learned alot about herself through therapy. Hopefully people will read her book and understand they need to work on issues their probably aren't aware of but which are negatively affecting their lives. The healthier we become the healthier society becomes. Most addictions are related to unresolved childhood trauma.

  15. Inspiring ✨ story I’m glad she realized her worth. This will help others who are constantly plagued with childhood trauma.

  16. Such a sad story mother life was fucked up already we can't blame her much her mental was fucked up too she should've asked sb take mom hospital somewhere asap

  17. I always loved her, never knew her story. Love her SOOOOO MUCH more now.💘

  18. I had a stepfather who was sexually attacking me when I was a young child I was 10 years old it kept up for a few years until my mom left him. while he was sexually attacking me he would tell me if I told my mother he would kill her. while he was sexually attacking me I would have out of body experiences and hover over my body and watch it happen. this way I did not feel the pain of what he was doing to me. I did not tell my mother until I was in my late twenties and when I told her all she said was I'm sorry this happened to you. I did not want to know if my mother knew that he was sexually attacking me. it would have broken my heart if she had known and did nothing about it.

  19. A lot of times we don’t realize what they really go through behind closed doors. I hope she can find the closure she needs and can venture off to doing things she loves to do without being guilty of being happy about it.

  20. Good for you Jennette. You did the right thing. You are very wise.

  21. I love what she has to say about eating disorder.. much like addiction I believe there is a negative language that once you are affected with something you will always struggle or have to carry that as part of you.. I also believe you can recover and move on and not have to hold former afflictions in your everyday reality. You can stay aware but evolving past something allows you to release the hold it has over your identity. I think it's the truest and final stage of recovery. Realizing it isn't a part of you but a choice from your past.

  22. Let's heal from these mamas!!! I'm in spiritual recovery now.

  23. " integrity" WOW… you dont see that word in action anymore these days.

  24. I’m genuinely happy for her!! She deserves all the happiness and peace in the world!!

  25. With the exception of acting, her childhood sounds so much like mine, including the sexual abuse at the hands of my mother. She now has cancer and I'm just waiting for her to die. I'll be buying her book for sure. God bless her. She's incredible ❤️

  26. Nickelodeon owes her a lot more than $300k let’s be real. And It should come straight from Dan’s pocket.

  27. She was my favorite character on Icarly, favorite Nick Actress at the time I thought she was so funny and so cool. I’m devastated to have lost her in that sense but I’m so proud of her for doing what’s best for her then and now.

  28. So happy to hear this. I hope she helps other childhood stars especially those spiraling out of control.

  29. Good for her, she’s smart AF. Ok bought her book 📖 she looks so thin right now

  30. She was the talented one on the show. She was actually the one people really watched. She should be a comedian. That's a compliment, because not everyone can do it. And she is a cute gal. I personally think she should continue acting because she's good. I am sorry to hear that she went through this.

  31. Every time I watch Icarly, especially the first few seasons, I think about her and what she endured.

  32. Im Sorry to hear this 😞 so painful. Take all good care

  33. What an intelligent, articulate young lady….in spite of her upbringing.

  34. Thank u for doing ur inner work and claiming and standing in integrity. U uplift us all. But mostly u saved urself. Hell yeah!!! 🙏

  35. Your hearts got cold, don't question why the things that'll happen.

  36. My mom was abusive too. She also died from cancer too. Her last words to me before she died were "f*ck you!". She never got me the help I needed. I'm really struggling now. I think about suicide everyday. I'm lost and alone.

  37. "I attempted to have anorexia but couldn't keep that up without my mom". Tf poor you, too bad you didn't grow up starving in a trailer park, that sorry damn mama of yours, giving you a skill and dollar to stand on.🙄 I don't believe the "mom's exams" BS either, just like your book title, you obviously will go to ANY length to make a dollar. You definitely need help.

  38. Very brave young woman. Wishing her well.

  39. I get that things are bad but the coin flip side of distasteful public scrutiny is marketing your tragedy. All is see is that a terrible situation created a terrible person.

  40. i hope this can also get other child stars to open up about their experiences in the industry…

  41. Mom not around for her version of events 🤔

  42. Wow woman can also molest children never knew.
