Actor Ashton Kutcher revealed his struggle with vasculitis on the television show “Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge.” The disease causes inflammation of the blood vessels and left Kutcher recovering for one year from an inability to see, hear and walk.

The human body is such a curse. Life could be an amazing thing but we are stuck in these messed up bodies. If it wasn't that it would be something else…glaucoma or MS or Lou Gerighs disease…or whatever. I have an autoimmune disease as well. I pretty much gave up on life after that. True story. You hear all the time about people who rise above thier challenges but you never hear about the people who just give up like me.
