Kim Jong Un declared victory over the “maximum emergency” Covid-19 pandemic on Thursday during a meeting with thousands of unmasked officials in Pyongyang. The North Korean leader’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, also suggested that he had suffered from Covid-19 symptoms before blaming South Korea for spreading the virus.
