What this video does not show is that Francis said the AR-15 was made for Vietnam. Francis needs to get his facts straight. The guy is NOT laughing at the kids being shot. He’s laughing at his facts on the AR15 being made for Vietnam. My Daddy is a US Navy Medically retired Purple Heart Veteran that was on River Boats in Vietnam that confirmed they did not have AR-15’s. Which backs up my knowledge of them NOT having AR-15’s they had M16’s and the M14 that were Semi-Automatic- meaning you have to pull the trigger each time you fired a round. Now the only Automatic they had was the 50 cal that was mounted on the boat. Colt introduced the AR-15 Semi-Automatic but it was developed into the 5.56mm M16. The AR-15 itself was never used in Vietnam. Special forces gave glowing reports of the AR-15 But it was disapproved by the Ordinance Corps. Yes the AR-15 was adopted by the Secretary of Defense but what was used was the 5.56mm M16. Yes I know the 5.56 can be used in the AR-15 but the AR-15 itself was not used it was the M16 in Vietnam.
