Saying that inflation has improved by dropping from 9.1 to 8.5 is like saying the US economy is headed for a cliff in a car that’s now traveling 85 mph but it used to be 91 mph, not good on any level

Dropping gas prices is not only indicator. If gas did not drop, the inflation numbers would be much higher. The only thing that will slow the inflation, and the much worst yet, deflation, is an increase in interest rates. The Feds, for once, are doing the right thing in raising them. However, it may be way too little, way too late!
