A 10-year-old boy in Florida was bit by a bull shark and airlifted to a nearby hospital where doctors were forced to amputate part of his leg. NBC News’ Steven Romo has the details.

There were numerous warnings about increased shark attacks …wtf was he out there? What is wrong with his parents?!
Very sorry some of these people suffered injuries but so glad everyone reported on here is alive. Still all the opportunity in the world for full happy lives and no one lost their loved ones.
I will pray for strength for this little guy. Thank God he’s alive.

Even the beasts of the ocean are angry. Animals are also retaliating. Can you blame them? When they feel and hear detonations of missiles in the water where they should be peaceful. I pray for this young kid. God was with him.
Sharks are not endangered, come to bahamas and you will very quickly realise we need to control these species. We can harvest 50% and there will still be to much.

Lived in Florida for a few years. The ocean and its creatures are not to be taken lightly. Was never attacked by a shark but was carried out to sea by a rip tide and I almost drowned. Wish you a speedy recovery lil man!

Prayers for this boy. As unfortunate as this attack is the normal human reaction is to go hunt sharks, hopefully this will not be the case because you shouldn't condemn and entire population of sharks for this incident.
