The FBI are doing almost a routine investigation for anyone having served in public office. And, there are precautions over questionablely potential actions/documents that were probably suppose to be sorted through before President Trump left the White House.
Likely in President Trump's frustration and leaving, he took documents that are in all likelihood not a threat to security. However, the FBI and other responsible agencies must look at and comb through them.
I don't think he had anything questionable. However, when he has had Diplomats visit from other countries, and varying visitors at Mar-A-Lago, it is a good precaution for an FBI raid.
I think it's routine and standard in given cases like this. Keep in mind, President Trump has never served public office until the time he became President. It's a learning lesson for him, as well as it was for Mrs. Clinton (whom I think was placed into a position rather quickly of Secretary of State, and not having a good idea of secure communication.) This happens when people try to jump high on the political ladder.
Mrs. Clinton ought have been Secretary of Education rather than to such a high level of Intel, until she really learned and developed better security standards.
President Trump should had been taught well on security protocols with handling of documents.
Both of them made mistakes, and tried to a place of position, or action without proper education and training.
But, here is the reality, both Clinton and Trump are human. So are people of other nations. And so is the media.
You make mistakes. You learn from them, and try to do a better job.

My understanding was that anything packed up was reviewed by officials to ensure it was safe to take home. Now those officials that reviewed the same boxes that the FBI just raided to get are no where to be seen.
I remember when Trum left office we all saw him carrying out these boxes.
The purpose of the raid is to take back the documents that President Trump obtained that contain incriminating evidence against the DOJ and the Democrats .
Evidence that proves that they conspired, fabricated and perpetuated lies to overthrown a sitting president in a coup attempt.
If those documents were to remain in President Trumps hands they would have exposed the truth once the Republicans are back in control of the White House and start their investigations.
