Michigan Judge Temporarily Blocks Prosecutors From Enforcing State’s Abortion Ban

Circuit Court Judge Jacob Cunningham in Oakland County, Michigan, granted a preliminary injunction that would temporarily bar prosecutors in the state’s largest counties from enforcing the state’s 1931 ban on abortion; the judge added that “by not issuing an injunction today, the court would send the healthcare system into crisis.”

  1. This judge's decision is totally in compliance with the decision recently made by the supreme court or you know, the highest court in the land.

I mean, only if you smoke crack and live in the twilight zone. 🤡🤡🤡

  2. If the right is pro life and the left has opposing views and believes in the opposite, what would that make people who are pro abortion?

  3. I feel this is a MUST read. One thing that's been apparent growing up for 5 decades around mostly country or religious conservatives is their INABILITY to think about other people & only seeing life through THEIR own life/family. For decades now, that a Repub has a situation happen, like a flooding, or a sudden job loss, or sudden onset illness, or even some having unwanted pregnancies – they ALWAYS have used the gov't to get out of the situation even though most of them are against that support or laws before hand. They use the gov't for so many things, yet they run down people on food stamps, their kid gets knocked up by the hotty in church camp, they get her an abortion, they get flooded & use the gov't help to recover. HYPOCRITES!

  4. Keep murdering the unborn Child,,nice job judge, blood is all over your hands!!

  5. The judge probably needs his house raided, he must be infected with socialism. Just say no to the Democratic party's, Klu Klux Klan policy of eugenics.

  6. Freedom 1 – christo fascism 0

  7. Religiously I can say I disagree with abortion but personally I creating laws to ban it is a waste of time. We literally have more important things to worry about. I’d rather they pass a bill the ban the increase of rent by more than %10 a year. I’d rather we work on our homeless problem. I’d rather we work on climate change. I’d rather we work on the increased violence. There’s so many other issues and this shouldn’t even be one. If someone wants an abortion let them get one. We have real ish to worry about.

  8. Wow there really is common sense, it's not totally ded!

  9. We all realize this is merely delaying the inevitable, right?

  10. I don't care what any wacko religionist thinks, no complete stranger has ANY right in the medical decisions of another person. NONE!

  11. The lower courts simply don't care about the Supreme Court's ruling. To them abortion bans are still unconstitutional.

  12. Don't Murder Your Children.

  13. Decided at the elections in Michigan. I am glad they get a say in the matter. We the people of Indiana got NO say in the matter. I want a vote in Indiana but our law makers have some religious ideology that we all have to live by. Thanks SCOUTS. When are they going to build Unwed Mothers homes like back in the 50s and 60s? We ARE going to need them, for the ones who don’t commit suicide.

  14. 👍👍

  15. "The unborn" are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike orphans, they don't need money, education, or childcare; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. It's almost as if, by being born, they have died to you. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus but actually dislike people who breathe.

  16. Now he needs to be allowed to rule on an injunction against Indiana for the same thing. Not allowing the voters to weigh in on the issue was a clear infraction on the rights of the people.

  17. How dare this judge prevent the church from controlling women's uterus'. The nerve…

  18. Paragraphs 16-17: “It is better for you that I go, for if I do not go, the paraclete will not come to you. If I go, I will send him to you. If he comes, he rebukes the world for the sin, and I have many words that I want to say, but you cannot carry it, but if the Spirit of truth comes who guides you to all The truth is because he does not speak on his own, but rather speaks what he hears and informs you of everything that is to come.” This applies only to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.
