If Trump gets charged, he will be tried in DC, a 90+% Democrat state. He will not get a fair trial and will be found guilty even if innocence is proven absolutely. All Democrats are found innocent, and all Conservatives are found guilty in DC, no matter what. The only thing that would prevent Democrats from charging Trump would be their fear of pre-trial discovery.
