School should be free.
I think it is wrong to forgive the Student Loan Debt, because of the following reasons. It's NOT FAIR to Americans who already Paid Off their Student Loans, or who Never went to College; many People worked like crazy and sacrificed to pay off Student Loans, or paid their Tuition, Room & Board, etc., without taking-out any Loans. It's NOT FAIR. Instead the Federal Government should take other steps to address the Problem of Massive Student Loan Debt. The Federal Government should expand the ways that Students can Work-Off their Student Loan Debt. The Federal Government should drastically lower the amount per month that must be repaid such that the Time to repay is extended. For the Future, the State and Federal Governments need to do the following. High School Students need to be better educated on what they're getting into when they go to College, such as which degrees are likely to lead to an in-demand, lucrative Job. High School Students need to be better educated about the financial responsibility that these Student Loans entail. The Federal Government needs to put pressure on Colleges and Universities to get them to Lower their Tuition, Room & Board, etc. The Federal Government needs to develop a Tuition-Free Online University for All American Citizens. All Biden would have to do is Create a Free University Website, instruct the U.S. Military Academies to produce Videotaped Lectures of many different Courses, and upload those videos onto the Website, as well as make DVDs. Also Biden should instruct the U.S. Military Academy Professors to produce Textbooks to go along with the Lectures (the Textbooks would generally be Transcripts of the Videos plus Problems to Solve etc.). The DVDs. and Textbooks could be distributed and sold through the U.S. Post Office keeping the Postal Service in Business. The cost of such a Tuition-Free University Education would be a few thousand dollars at most maybe as little as $2,000. That's the Solution to the Problem of Future Massive Student Loan Debt. Biden's ridiculous Loan Forgiveness Program is Unfair and is just a temporary fix. I am extraordinarily disappointed in the Biden Administration, such that I intend to Vote Republican for the first time in my Life.

Do people realize how little so many of the wee ones in college actually apply themselves, how many classes they skip, how much they feel ENTITLED and give so little, . . .? Why is this elderly man we call PRESIDENT not appearing to be aware of this? Hasn't the government already subsidized 12 years of education – much of which has been wasted by those who either come to school or skip school? Why don't Biden and the rest of the people involved in this decision instead come up with a plan that PAYS BACK those who actually GRADUATE in, say, the top 75% of their college graduating classes (after only four years, not something beyond that)? Let's add some motivation to these people who might otherwise simply be going to college to postpone maturity. Let's look at how much of what is presented in college was actually presented in high school or before.

Ok lets think about common since i dont care about student debt or child tax credits because one thing could help with all of this.direct stimulas checks as much as possible because this will help everyone with all dept and child support and debt for those like my self who has to pay child support but dont qualify for child credit but im so far in debt now i cant provide for my child because he doesnt live with me plus i have to cover his medical as well . everyone has debt under diff. circumstances that only stimulas checks could help.

Years and years ago, I paid for College all by myself, by starting in 5th Grade Delivering Newspapers in the Heat of Summer and the Cold and Snow of winters, then the summer after 5th Grade started doing Yard work to save up money for College. After graduation from High School, still did not have enough money and had to sit out a School Year to work full time for 15 months (Summer, then 4 more Seasons to end of summer next year). Now with Joe Biden buying Votes by throwing USA Tax Payers money around, the Tax Payers will need to pay the Banks to pay off the Student Loans. The $125,000 income and less people will not need to pay off their Student Loans, but now I at under $30,000 limited income (retired) will need to pay for others College Students loans.
What a disgrace you are as you pay off your own debt as that is not the government's responsibility. Absolutely pathetic that my tax dollars are paying someone else's debit mistake.
