I have been passed over and laid off many times since the affirmative action laws went into effect. I’m an old white guy and my friends of color were put in to replace me. Only thing was they didn’t have the technical job skills and knowledge, so they were always calling me about how to do things. I felt sorry for them.

My old company, I retired, had a policy that white males were the bottom of the list for promotions. It was well known and accepted. It's an enormous insurance company that may have an "emu" in it's advertising.
