Officials say a patient was killed and a paramedic is in critical condition after the ambulance they were in caught fire outside of Adventist Health Castle Hospital in Kailua, Hawaii.

Security footage from within the ambulance must show the cause. Patient had something on him, someone threw something in?
Wonder if it was a diesel ambulance. These new diesels with all their emissions crap go through Regen cycles that the exhaust is hot enough to light something on fire. I wonder if some part of the exhaust was in contact with the ambulance to catch fire that way.
