However, in closing argument the plaintiff attorneys presented a specific formula and calculated a specific dollar amount request from this jury. And they specified a minimum amount for any damage award to guide the jury if it was feeling thrifty.
The taxpayers of Los Angeles County should sue the Federal judge in the case to give his salary back – he didn't manage the trial, he watched it from the visitor gallery like everyone else.

I wonder if Vanessa gave any thought to how many programs will get cut now, programs that were intended to help the people of Los Angeles County, but now the funding will be gone, because the money will be going into her bank account instead. Do you think Kobe would approve?
Suing people is a business model in the US. If I'd lived in the US, I would hope something mildly bad happens to me so I'd be rich.
