When are we, the American People, going to finally demand that the people in positions of leadership and governance be held to accountability in the form of serious criminal penalties for their failures in leadership, their blatant dereliction of duties, and their complete incompetence toward management of their obligations? The Mississippi governor, the Jackson mayor and/or city council should be held criminally responsible for the water crisis resulting from their neglect of the water treatment facility which they’ve long known was in poor condition and continuing to deteriorate!
If our government officials were at risk of serious criminal charges and severe judicial consequences for their destructive and reckless decisions, we as a nation might finally receive better leadership and more effective representation, fewer systemic disasters, increased safety, and vastly quality of life in this country!
