Bankers, speculators, financiers, CEOs and other members of the corporate greed world convinced Democrats and Republicans (who didn't need that much convincing) that shipping manufacturing overseas would be beneficial to the nation. Yeah…it was for them. Lower costs and higher profits. For the rest of us, not much except a lot of people fighting over the meager scraps those bigwigs deigned to throw our way. Now you have states fighting each other trying to under cut each other in tax policy. Lower tax revenue means crappy infrastructure, broken water systems, lousy roads, lousy airports, lousy everything. Those wealthy corporate geniuses? They spend their summers in the Hamptons and Nantucket – places that normal people could visit but now can't.

In order to convince people to start producing stuff more or manufacturing more, the Democrats needs to stop spending money the government doesn’t have. Do this first. Stop this endless government spending.
