We did what all you old boomers told us to, we all did what your "supposed to do" so we listened and went and now we are all in so much debt that the degrees mean nothing or even if they do we have so much student loan debt because of how out of control the prices are for college. Boomers could work a single job as a waitress or in a kitchen and be able to pay for their college, we CANT do that anymore so claiming that receiving a tiny amount like $10,000 which is the bare minimum that should have been done is somehow teaching irresponsibility is legit insane. We did what YOUR generation told us we HAD to do and now a whole 2 generations have been nailed by an exorbitant amount that the colleges you told us to go to are charging. The amount spent on these student loan forgiveness is NOTHING compared to the PPP loans that were forgiven…. Marjorie Taylor Green had o er $120,000 forgiven along with millions of others so how is $10,000 for those of us that did what the boomers told us to do and went to college a bad thing? The GOP is trying soooooo desperately to make student loan debt forgiveness a bad thing when more than like 80% of the country agree or even think its not enough. Yet again the right and GOP are crying and throwing temper tantrums because a tiny fraction of student debt is being forgiven. Most people have more than $10 grand so it won't even get rid of most peoples debt but its a start and there is no legitimate reason why PPP loans in the hundreds of thousands to millions have been forgiven but somehow $10,000 for students is bad?yet again another example of the Republicans and the GOP wanting nothing more than to help the rich and tell everyone else they don't deserve a break. Ya know that college thing all us boomers did without much debt, yeah well you HAVE to go to college its what you do, but when you have so much debt that you can't start a family or buy a home like all you boomers did then there's a problem.
