Electronic cigarette maker Juul Labs agreed to pay nearly $440 million as part of a settlement with 34 states and territories. Connecticut’s attorney general found that the company targeted teens with an advertising campaign that appealed to young people despite the cigarettes being illegal for them to purchase.

It's not tobacco and what did is against the law
These fines never go to the people. Kind of a joke.
So who gets the money? 🤔
Yeah that's what happens when big tobacco buys a vape company
What about all the ads throughout history of tobacco companies targeting kids? Who cares? We know what this is all about.
I would think a RNA vaccine on kids is worse
Pfizer to pay billions after they and Rachel Meadow said the vaccine stops covid. It stops the spread ?
Wow
So are we going to do the same with other companies?
Whats the percentage of underaged followers for cigarette companies? Alcohol? What about fast foods effects on their health?
What's the point of lynching Juul if this doesn't apply to everyone
If you are under 21yo you can't buy electronic cigarettes but you can buy as many as you want automatic assault rifles. It makes sense
And where does all does this money go? To politicians?
Meanwhile cigarettes and alcohol.
It’s ok for McDonald’s but no juul for you
People should vape instead of smoke while driving. Cigarettes cause fires, vapes don't. But you shouldn't market either to kids.
Wait, where is the payout going?
So where does that money go exactly?
🙄🙄🙄
I am 30 years old, never came across juul marketing in my life, and bought a juul a few days ago.
How is it their fault that kids follow their twitter?
Who is that $440 mil paid to?
so sue twitter…., what kind of a clown show are you running?!
The reason why older adults around smoking them is because they are still addicted to cigarettes and none of them if any have a Twitter account or any social media.
So how do I collect. Where does that money go. To whom
I feel like a lot of that money ends up “missing”
Who gets all that money?
Just wait till they start getting sued for popcorn lung diseases after they said vapes are healthier.
boooooo
If you’re a good parent or parents your child won’t be fooled by that stuff
half of twitter followers could be BOTS lol
Funny how they took the high road on this but stand by as tobacco companies do and continue to do this
What a sham
Big tobacco did this
What's the least worse, McDonalds or Juul Lab?
and yet junk food and fast food companies are allowed to advertise and sell to kids
They "agreed" to pay? Did they have a choice or something?
Lol that still won’t stop it
