If I was to buy a company, especially a big influential social media company, I would require to see all the data before having to follow through on a deal. Everybody has a right for full disclosures when making any type of purchase.
If I purchase a car and somebody refuses to let me see the odometer or any documented work done to it, I would most definitely back out of that deal.

Twitter stock is up today not because of the ruling to allow Elon Musk to add counterclaims but because of the ruling to keep the October trial date. The latter means that Twitter deal will not be delayed.
