Here in Arizona most folks tend to avoid hiking in….110/120 degree heat. It ain't rocket science.
Wait!? Did you say the San Mateo county sheriffs office? Last time I checked, the city of Santa Barbara is located in Santa Barbara county.
I believe that those who go hiking and die were just going there to go die. Their sub subconscious knows and leads them to nature
So sad. I had a close call myself being a new hiker. I made the mistake of biking to the trails, hiking for a couple of hours, then biking back. About 10mins from home things went bad. Now, I always check the weather, I load up on water and carbs the day and night before, and definitely have water the day of. Just thankful I’m still here to type this.
Well who does that anyways… it's like being in the streets you know the consequences.

Awful way to die. I've hiked in the west in summer. It's dangerous. Pity the immigrants being encouraged by this corrupt administration to cross the blazing deserts and the flooded Rio Grande with these open borders.
That is really frightening. He shouldn’t have gone hiking 🥾 in the extremely hot 🥵 weather. It would’ve been much better to stay put indoors.

Some pople don’t read the news. There have been two cases of people succumbing to heat stroke in the past couple of years. Do not go hiking in hot weather. When you do hike, take sun protection and plenty of water.
Most definitely not the sharpest tools in the shed. Who hikes in extreme heat conditions???
