First of all, is it illegal to remove any government documents from the White house without going through the proper channels whether they are classified or not? If so, trump is guilty. Second, which may be more troublesome is the how, why and he actual content of such documents that were taken. It is hard for me as I am sure many that this was just a harmless mistake. If proven so, forgive me. If not, then this is treason and espionage against the United States of America and the perpetrator should be charged accordingly. Life in prison.

Can DoJ pursue a parallel case against the same plaintiff? If so they should move on section 3 of the 14th amendment — that kind of case takes the wind ($$$) out of sails.
A security violation notice is issued by the United States Secret Service when an office/division fails to properly secure classified information. Upon discovery of an alleged security violation, the USSS implements their standard procedures which include the following actions:
(1) Preparation of a Record of Security Violation form;
(2) When a document is left on a desk or other unsecured area, the officer will remove the classified document(s) and deliver to the Uniformed Division's Control Center; and
(3) Where the alleged violation involves an open safe, the officer will remove one file bearing the highest classification level, annotate it with his or her name, badge number, date and time, and return the document to the safe, which will then be secured. A description of the document will be identified in the Record of Security Violations and a copy of the violation will be left in the safe.
Independents and democrats a like need to vote in next republican primary for presidential candidate to ensure trump is not the republican candidate. You can vote in republican primary for presidential candidates and still vote for who every you decide on in actual presidential elections in every state. No one can force you to vote for a certain party candidate. This would help in making sure trump is not on the ticket for next presidential election.
