In Australia we still had coins with kind georgeV and edward VII on them right up till recently still find some at times as they are still legal tender it will be mainly the notes that will change first as they wear out quicker than coins and will just have the image changed in new minted coins and notes as they are replaced at end of life time. All the coin collectors will be hurrying to get good quality 2022 coins as the last issues of the Queen on them and then to get the first issues of the coins with Charles on them.
