Do not allow your electric company to put in a smart meter people are reporting that their bills are going between 2:00 to 7:00 times higher than normal and the electric company is simply saying that it is you when in fact you may have removed , as I did at least 7 electrical items from my home I have removed 2 televisions 2 radios a microwave 2 fans I have no a/c and outside light .I only run my new energy efficient 17 cy ft refrigerator 5 hours on 5 hours off .The result was that my bill only went up double rather than 3 to 7 times normal reported across the US..and now UK. . You need to insist on a non-electronic electromechanical analog meter
