Unfortunately this vaunted “counteroffensive” has achieved nothing, except for the swindling of American taxpayers into Zelen$ky’s bank accounts.
This is exposing the Russian government and military high command incompetence and corruption. Ukraine is right next door and has outdated former Soviet Union military equipment with some limited amount of Western donated weapon systems; far less then they need. After the Russian stole Crimea, the Ukrainian military has been trained under the Western military doctrine, while the Russian military still fights using the Soviet doctrine of bombardment of civilian cities. It shows the corruption and graft in the Russian military high command and Russian government bureaucracy on supplying material and training. Putin’s Russian oligarchs and Generals have been stealing money from the country and providing substandard military equipment and training, while buying multi-million dollar villas and multi-million dollar yachts in Western countries.
Ukraine and the Heroism of the Ukrainian people is truly worthy of admiration. As an American I am proud to stand with Ukraine.
