I do not understand how Trump can only have 54% negative and still have 34% positive. Never mind "what does Trump have to do to go to jail"–what does he even have to do for half the country to realize he is destructively the United States? I'm not just counting the 34% who inexplicably approve a Putin Wannabe but also the 12% who in the face of a mountain of wrongdoings are like "uh I dunno"–for a total of 46%.
For comparison and context, here are some poll numbers from Canada:
In the 2020 elections, Canadians would have voted 86% Biden and 14% Trump.
In 2022, 80% of Canadians are worried U.S. political problems will have dangerous effects on Canada's politics, economy and security.
And 68% of Canadians think that if Trump were given a second term that U.S. democracy would not survive.
Ademas, Trump had a 6% approval rating in Mexico. Six percent!
Please figure it out! Trump is unleashing all kinds of dangerous problems, empowering conspiracy theorists, racists, insurrectionists, fascists, autocrats, con artists, terrorists, polluters, misogynists, narcissists, etc. Not just in the U.S. but around the world.
It is undeniable there was a very worrisome violent attack on your democracy. But it is also fact your democracy survived the attack. I believe in U.S. democracy. I believe you can make us believe in you again. Good luck!
