For Ms Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor as a person, I have such great admiration. I don’t know why. Is it karma? I liked the way she moved her hand. I liked how strong she remained in her position. So much happened in her long life, and through it all, she stood like a mountain.
But as a queen? I don’t know. If she had apologized for the genocides, looting, robbery, enslavement, and all the other atrocities committed by the British, around the globe, then I may have liked her as a queen too. But that won’t happen now.
This so-called 'Queen' leaves behind a legacy of denial of treacherous plunder from nations, killing of innocent, unarmed civilians through inhuman laws and staying defiant on the crimes against humanity that her Empire perpetrated. She had 70 years to openly repent for their actions, but never once did I hear I'm sorry, or please forgive us, not once. She also had all the time in the world to return some or all of the stolen stones and artifacts from Africa and Indian subcontinent but never did. The torture, and Mutilation of people in the colonies can never be forgotten, or forgiven. She must be remembered in the light of her greedy, selfish actions and not some romanticized, redundant title. May those who perished because of her family's greed find peace. May humanity be spared from such characters in future. Americans and American media should be ashamed of themselves for glorifying this family with racist and colonialist history. On one hand they claim they fight for black civil rights and on the other hand they glorify racism and colonialism. Why do you celebrate July 4 if Colonial British were so benevolent?

Im no royalist, but when the bagpiper walked of that gave even me a tear in my eye.
I thought for sure the piper would do a u-turn and come back down the corridor. Instead he went left and was gone. It was emotional because accepting she is gone is so hard.
As an Englishman I was a little jealous but understanding because it felt like she was saying that she dies as a Scot.
Did you know that: She owned an elephant, two giant turtles, a jaguar and a pair of sloths?

the entire ceremony was about moving the coffin around from one location to the next…quite hideous actually…they had a rotting corpse on display for 10 days…. LOL
